Art History Professor Heghnar Watenpaugh receives Guggenheim Fellowship, Gold IPPY
Heghnar , professor of art history, has won yet another prestigious honor for her book, The Missing Pages: The Modern Life of a Medieval Manuscript, from Genocide to Justice, (Stanford University Press). The book won the gold medal, in the history category, in the , which honors books in dozens of categories, from poetry to fiction and nonfiction.
The "IPPY" Awards, launched in 1996, are 鈥渄esigned to bring increased recognition to the deserving but often unsung titles published by independent authors and publishers.鈥 There were, in all, 425 winning titles honored this year.
