Heat is one area where health, climate change and racism build on each other and intertwine in ways that cannot be separated.

In the fifth and final installment of ºÙºÙÊÓƵ’ Becoming Arizona climate change series, scientists, health professionals and community leaders examine the connecting dots of climate change, COVID-19 and racism, and discuss unsung solutions that may help warming cities like Sacramento address them.

The series began nearly a year ago, after another very hot summer. It ends in a changed world.
