AGGIES ON THE MOVE TEAM CHALLENGE: Final standings

The Category 5 team took first place in the eight-week walking challenge, with 920,742 steps per person, on average (that is 16,442 steps a day!). The team: Manny Castillo, Nick McLain, Debby Montero, Tom Robinson (captain) and Patrick Van Dyke.

Most improved honors went to the Barking Dogs: Peter Brinckerhoff, Deanna Johnson, Bob Lantz, Katy Lantz and Mary Wood. They walked 684,892 steps per person, on average — for average improvement of 7 percent from Week 1 to Week 8.

Organizers with Campus Recreation’s Fitness and Wellness Center said the Aggies on the Move walking program and Team Challenge will return in the fall.
