HALLOWEEN COSTUMES FOR RENT AND SALE: The Costume Shop at the Department of Theatre and Dance has a new name this month: The Enchanted Cellar.
The cellar, in 17 Wright Hall, is renting and selling costumes for the Halloween season.

Oct. 25 -- 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Oct. 31 -- 3-5 p.m.
During these times, people can browse through the rental inventory, in the Preview Room, to see if there is something they may want to rent. If so, an appointment is required. Students, staff, faculty and alumni receive a 50 percent discount on rentals.
The Bargain Bin Room sells costume pieces such as shirts, pants, skirts,
old dresses and coats.
Roxanne Femling, Costume Shop director, said she and her staff have put together a number of costumes for rent. They include Batman and Joker, Indiana Jones and Irina Spalko, Lizzy Borden, Marilyn Monroe, Austin Powers and Foxxy Cleopatra, Willy Wonka, Naruto and Sakura (anime), Mario and Princess Peach (Nintendo), as well as mad scientist, pirates, vampires, devils, fairies and fauns, witches and wizards, and a wide variety of outfits from all periods of history.
"These are costume packages, but single pieces can be rented also," Femling said. "Or, people can come up with an idea and we will try to put together a package for them."
