APRIL 20

Lyrical Expressions — Poetry reading and writing workshop facilitated by alum Ruby Veridiano-Ching. 7-8:30 p.m., King Lounge, MU.

Break Dancing Workshop — Learn a routine and the basic foundations of break dancing. 10:30-11:30 p.m., Dance Studio, Activities and Recreation Center.

APRIL 21

Are Asian College Students at Higher Risk for Suicidal Thoughts? — Awareness-raising workshop. Noon-1 p.m., King Lounge, MU.

Open Mic — Fundraiser for middle school and high school music and arts programs. Sign up at the door. 7-9 p.m., King Lounge, MU.

APRIL 22

Healthy Dating Workshop — Presented by Nilda Valmores, executive director of My Sister’s House. Noon-1 p.m., King Lounge, MU.

Our Story — Film screening and panel discussion of the history and importance of Asian Pacific Islander activism at ºÙºÙÊÓƵ. 7-8 p.m., King Lounge, MU.

APRIL 23

How to Survive as an Independent Artist, and Jam Session 2.0 — Featuring featuring afterschoolspecial, hip-hop/rock band. Jam session: sing, rap, play guitar, etc. Bring your instruments! 1-2:30 p.m., Delta of Venus, B Street between First and Second streets, Davis.

Culture Night — Annual cultural talent showcase featuring students and professionals, including Mandeep Sethi (conscious, jazz-inspired hip-hop beats) and afterschoolspecial (hip-hop/rock). $7 presale, $9 at the door. 7-10 p.m., Freeborn Hall.

All events are open to the public, and all except Culture Night are free.
