The Chancellor's Outstanding Staff Awards ceremony last month celebrated the remarkable dedication and achievements of 12 staff employees that make ٺƵ and ٺƵ Health a better place to work, learn and receive care. Held at Chancellor Gary S. May's residence on April 29, the event was a testament to their .
Opening the ceremony, May expressed gratitude.
“It’s a privilege to recognize these winners,” he said. “[They] completely embody the spirit of ٺƵ, where we reach great heights in all our endeavors. Every aspect of our mission at ٺƵ depends on collaboration. At times, the work of our staff happens behind the scenes, but our operation could not succeed without the effort of so many people who excel across our campuses.”
As the recipients took the stage for commemorative photos with May; David Lubarsky, ٺƵ Health CEO and vice chancellor for health and human sciences; Clare Shinnerl, vice chancellor of Finance, Operations and Administration; speakers Tammy Kenber, chief Human Resources officer; and Amy Murphy, interim executive director of Human Resources for ٺƵ Health, spoke of the employees’ exceptional accomplishments.
The evening concluded with a gathering in the courtyard, where attendees mingled over refreshments against the backdrop of the setting sun.
Thanks to the outstanding achievement of the awardees, and anticipating another year of progress and excellence, the future looks bright for next year’s ceremony.
