Vitalant, formerly Blood Source, called off the annual competition between ºÙºÙÊÓƵ and California State University, Sacramento, due to the fact most students are engaged in remote instruction this term — not to mention the fact the Causeway Classic football game between the schools will not be played.
Appointments are encouraged for next week’s blood and marrow drive, and (log in to your Vitalant account or proceed as a guest; search for the ºÙºÙÊÓƵ blood drives by using Blood Drive Code SMFL016).
The Nov. 4-5 blood and marrow drive follows on the heels of an Oct. 13 drive on campus that brought in 85 pints of pints of blood and one plasma unit, from a total of 106 people who registered. Not everyone who registers can complete the process for a variety of reasons.
