CAMPUS ICON: Standing on the new Centennial Walk unveiled Oct. 15 are Chancellor Larry Vanderhoef, left, and Bob Segar, assistant vice chancellor for campus planning. The walkway -- which has been doubled in width, to 12 feet, with granite bricks along the edges -- follows a path that dates back to around 1915. The walk's dedication capped the Centennial Fall Festival, which also included the Robert Mondavi Institute's grand opening, an Academic Showcase of special lectures, homecoming and the Celebrate ºÙºÙÊÓƵ! street fair in downtown Davis.
