The Center for Visual Sciences is hosting a daylong Vision Research Symposium on Jan. 9.
Organizers said short talks by faculty will be one part of the program, designed to illustrate the university’s broad strength in vision research.
Poster presentations also are planned, as well as small group discussions.
Professor Trevor Lamb of the Australian National University is scheduled to deliver two keynote addresses, while Andrew Mariani, program officer for the National Eye Institute is due to talk about the changing roadmap and peer review at the National Institutes of Health.
The symposium is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Room 113 at the Center for Neuroscience-Center for Visual Sciences, 1544 Newton Court, Research Park, Davis.
