A message from Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi:
“The pride we have in our campus is what helps make ٺƵ such a special place, and with the new academic year upon us I hope you will help us revive a campus tradition to demonstrate our Aggie spirit and affection.
WELCOME BACK
Read the chancellor’s to faculty and staff.
“It’s called Aggie Pride Fridays, and it encourages members and friends of our campus community to wear ٺƵ apparel every Friday of the school year.
“Wearing the Aggie Blue may seem like a small gesture, but it really does support the idea that we are one university regardless of where we may work or study.
“While we show our pride and affection for our university year-round, I hope you will join in the fun on Aggie Pride Fridays and proudly display your Aggie Blue for everyone to see.
“It is a forceful way to demonstrate our solidarity and our love for everything ٺƵ stands for as a world-class university.
“I hope you will show your ٺƵ spirit and join me in celebrating the Aggie Pride Fridays tradition.”
"Go Ags!"
Sincerely,
Linda Katehi
Chancellor
