Update 10 a.m. Oct. 10: Banner should be back online Wednesday morning (Oct. 12), Information and Educational Technology reports. Multiple teams are working on restoring the campus' student information system, which went down after a hardware failure Friday (Oct. 7), but need more time for scanning and testing, Vice Chancellor Adela de la Torre and CIO-Vice Provost Viji Murali said in a message to the campus community.

We are writing to update you on the Banner service. As we communicated on Friday (Oct. 7), the vendor, Oracle, replaced hardware and the technical team began the process to restart, test and scan the service. We will continue health checks throughout the evening and expect the service to be available tomorrow morning (Monday, Oct. 10), by 10 a.m. For timely updates, please visit .
