The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the future of international education will be the subject of an online conversation with leaders from European universities Thursday, July 9.
The fourth in a series of live discussions with educational leaders from more than a dozen countries, the European panel will include:
- , vice president of international development at in Paris, France
- Matilde Sánchez Fernández, vice-rector of in Spain
- Sari Lindlom, vice-rector of the in Finland
- , principal and vice-chancellor of the in Scotland
The series, “,” is co-hosted by the Institute of International Education, or IIE, and the University of California, Davis. See the series news release.
IIE President Allan E. Goodman will moderate the regional panel on Europe, which will begin at 8 a.m. PDT ( 3 p.m. UTC).
The series will conclude July 16 with panelists from Latin America:
