Sept. 29, Monday, 1-4 p.m. -- Cosmologists take a break from contemplating the universe to explain their work to students and the public. Brief talks on subjects such as origin of the universe and Big Bang theory will be given on the hour from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and faculty, researchers and graduate students will be on hand to introduce displays and talk about their work. The event will be held in the ºÙºÙÊÓƵ Department of Physics' new fifth floor expansion space, Physics/Geology Building, from 1 p.m. A ribbon cutting for the new extension, which will house the cosmology program, will be held at 4:10 p.m.
