The Craft Center is not just for students. It is open to staff, faculty, alumni and the Davis community, and now is the time to be thinking about signing up for winter quarter classes.
Faculty and staff should also note that they are eligible for a 10 percent discount this winter.
Students, however, get priority registration (10 a.m.-10 p.m. Jan. 5 and 6), while general registration starts at 10 a.m. Jan. 7. Registration for each class continues until it fills or begins.
Each quarter, the center offers more than 90 classes, from one-day workshops to seven-week courses in arts and crafts, flameworking, jewelry, screen printing, welding, ceramics, glass, photography, textiles and woodworking.

Registration can be arranged in person, by telephone, (530) 752-1475 (using Visa or MasterCard), or by mail or fax using the form on the . Online registration is not available.
To claim their discount, faculty and staff should use the on the Craft Center Web site, or mention “staff winter discount” when registering by phone.
Craft Center Gallery
The gallery will begin winter quarter with a digital photography show, “Toddler Investigations: Documenta-tion at the Early Childhood Laboratory,” Jan. 5-Feb. 6, by Julia Luckenbill, Craft Center volunteer and Early Childhood Laboratory director.
