Jan. 20, Tuesday -- Michael Fullan, professor emeritus at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto and a worldwide authority on educational reform, will deliver a Distinguished Educational Thinkers lecture at 5:15 p.m. in the University Club lounge at ºÙºÙÊÓƵ. Fullan’s talk will be titled "The Six Secrets of Change." It is free and open to the public.
Fullan is special adviser to the premier and minister of education in Ontario, Canada. He is the author of "Leading in a Culture of Change," which was awarded the 2002 Book of the Year award by the National Staff Development Council, and "Breakthrough," which won the 2006 Book of the Year award from the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education.
The Distinguished Educational Thinkers speaker series is sponsored by the ºÙºÙÊÓƵ School of Education and the Graduate Group in Education.
