Aggies had a lot to smile about after turning Saturday’s “Battle for the Golden Horseshoe,” ٺƵ’ annual matchup against the Cal Poly Mustangs, into a convincing win.
ٺƵ won the Homecoming game 48-24, in front of a ٺƵ Health Stadium record crowd of 11,194 people.
The football game wasn’t the only thing drawing attention, either. Pint made his only appearance of the season (, so he’s taking a break), retrieving the kickoff tee in perfect form.
And Maggie the Aggie (Tatum Burris, a fourth-year animal science major and president of the Western Equestrian Club) , posing for photos with fans.
This weekend also marked the first Homecoming performance for the new ٺƵ Marching Band, under the direction of interim assistant director Garrett Rigsby.
ٺƵ , and the series overall sits at 23-20-2, in favor of the Aggies. The perpetual trophy will remain in Davis.
Student group provides homes for orphan kittens
Small kittens have a better chance at survival thanks to the student-run Orphan Kitten Project. The group matches orphaned and abandoned kittens with foster homes among veterinary students and other members of the community.

ASUCD: Not just a student government
