The artist in residence at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts is honoring another artist. Pianist Lara Downes this month released , an album marking the centennial year of the late composer Leonard Bernstein's birth, featuring her and other musicians.
As one of ºÙºÙÊÓƵ' Innovators of the Year last year, she received a $10,000 prize that she said "was very supportive to my research and preparation for this project.â€
