A 20-mile stretch of lower Putah Creek has become a habitat for thousands of birds whose numbers are dwindling. , overseen by the ºÙºÙÊÓƵ Museum of Wildlife and Fish Biology, Solano Water Agency, landowners and more, is made up of more than 200 boxes where birds can nest and breed.
New students celebrate and chow down
After they celebrated — watching performances from numerous student groups including the Golden Turtle Lion Dancers, M.K. Modern, the Cal Aggie Marching Band-uh!, the Liquid Hot Plates and more — the Class of 2020 and Transfer Class of 2018 were well fed.
Sixteen food trucks surrounded the resource fair following the New Student Celebration on Monday (Sept. 19), ensuring no attendee left hungry. Each truck prepared 500 meals.
