Banging Bowls, a Latin Fusion eatery, will open a permanent residence on Sage Street in West Village as an extension of its current Silo food truck. The new location, which will be open 3-10 p.m. on weekdays, will host an open house from 4-7 p.m. on Oct. 25.

New dishes

The ASUCD Coffee House, or the CoHo to Aggies in the know, is introducing many new dishes this year, such as a soup of the day at the CoHo Deli, and new breads, croissants and danishes at both the Deli and Swirlz Bakery. The bakery will also be debuting new specialty drinks, including seasonal drinks like a pumpkin spice latte and a caramel apple latte. The CoHo South Café is also introducing new options with international roots such as Indian samosas, Filipino beef lumpia and Salvadorian cabbage slaw.

Combo meals, happy hour

Additionally, Spokes Grill at the Silo is introducing new combo meals consisting of a choice of entrée, small fries and a fountain drink for $9.99. Choose from either a unicycle burger, cruiser sandwich, or chicken tender fenders for a fun meal at a cheap price. In the same complex, the Gunrock has expanded its 20% off “Aggie Hour” to 3-6 p.m. and will now be accepting reservations for large parties of over eight people.

Stay up to date

In other news, CalFresh will now be accepted at Sage Street, Silo, Tercero, Segundo and Cuarto markets. All residential markets have also added a hot food menu.

Dining Services has two new ways for hungry Aggies to stay up to date:

  • , a monthly newsletter with information about various food programs on campus, as well as deals and offers.
  • , a monthly YouTube video series covering menu changes, upcoming events and new programs in campus dining.
