Family-Law Clinic Accepting New Cases in Yolo County

The ºÙºÙÊÓƵ is now accepting new cases for fall.

Opened in 1999, the clinic provides free legal services in family law matters such as divorces, parentage actions, and custody and support matters. Clients seeking representation must have Yolo County cases, have experienced domestic violence and be low income (150 percent of poverty guidelines or less).

Prospective clients are urged to contact the clinic as soon as possible because spaces in the clinic fill up quickly.

Last year, the clinic handled 91 cases. Representation is provided by second- and third-year law students under the supervision of a family-law attorney.

For more information, contact the Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic at (530) 661-4477. Spanish-speaking assistance is available.
