May 6 to 8 -- The Whole Earth Festival, ºÙºÙÊÓƵ' annual festival known for its environmental and social conscience, will feature craft vendors, children's activities, workshops, informational booths and musical entertainment. Reminiscent of the '60s, it demonstrates today's environmental spirit with an aggressive program to capture most of the festival's waste for recycling or composting. Free and open to the public, the festival runs noon-10 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit or call (530) 752-2569.
