JOHN CAMERON MITCHELL: Actor, writer, director, producer John Cameron Mitchell is due on campus Jan. 14 to present a lecture and participate in a question-and-answer session. As a lead-up to that event, the university is presenting three of his films:

Jan. 11 -- Tarnation

Jan. 12 -- Hedwig and the Angry Inch

Jan. 13 -- Shortbus

All of the films and the Jan. 14 lecture and Q&A are scheduled for 8 p.m. in the Technocultural Studies Building. Due to the content of Mitchell's work, no one under age 18 will be admitted. All events are free and open to the public.

LATIN AMERICAN FILM SERIES: This series, free and open to the public, is set to begin Jan. 18 and continue weekly on Fridays through March 7. All programs are set to begin at 7 p.m. in 1322 Storer Hall.
