Finally, Grupo Corpo! Plus other shows at the Mondavi Center

The Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts announced a new performance date of April 7 for the Brazilian dance company Grupo Corpo.

The company had been scheduled to perform March 13, until the center ran into trouble with the acoustic canopy in Jackson Hall. The repair project forced the move of several shows and the rescheduling of a couple of performances.

The center resumed its regular schedule the night of March 16, and, with the rescheduled Grupo Corpo show the center will be all caught up.

The Grupo Corpo show time remains the same, 8 p.m., and the program is also the same: Seven or Eight Pieces for a Ballet and the new work Breu, both choreographed by Rodrigo Pederneiras.

If you already held tickets and parking passes for the March 13 performance, you will use those same tickets and passes for the April 7 performance.

The preperformancve lecture has been canceled, but there will still be a post-performance question-and-answer session with Ruth Rosenberg, Mondavi Center dance consultant.

If you purchased tickets for the March 13 date, and are unable to attend the new date of April 7, contact the box office to request a refund. The box office can be reached by telephone at (530) 754-2787 or toll-free (866) 754-2787.
