As the Davis campus continues its gradual reopening, a Campus Ready training video has now been made required viewing for all employees.
Since its launch in June, more than 3,900 employees have completed the in the UC Learning Center. The course takes approximately 12 minutes to complete and includes a brief quiz at the end.

- Daily Symptom Survey — To be completed upon entering Davis campus facilities.
- Flu Vaccine — Required by Nov. 1.
Any employees who are now working on campus, or plan to work on campus before January 2021 — including academic, staff and student employees — are required to complete the course by Friday, Sept. 25.
All other employees, regardless of their remote work status, are required to complete the training by Dec. 15. [ٺƵ Health employees at the Sacramento campus are exempt, as they have their own training materials.]
Employees who have not yet taken the course will begin to receive emails saying the training is required.
‘Each of us is responsible’
The course acknowledges that employees already have real-life experience with physical distancing and face coverings. So the course material focuses on campus-specific guidance related to returning to in-person work, what to expect and where to find more information.
In a , Vice Chancellor Kelly Ratliff of Finance, Operations and Administration, and Phil Kass, vice provost of Academic Affairs, said: “Each of us is responsible to our students and campus community to do all that we can to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Thank you for your diligence as we work together to find a new normal.”
