Dear Editor:
It would be nice if Dateline would investigate its articles more thoroughly before they send them to print. In your May 11 article, you state that 20 Sodexho employees disrupted the chancellor's brown bag talk in the Cabernet Room. There may have been 20 people shouting and chanting, but only two or three were Sodexho employees. In fact, out of our 500 employees, I only know of a handful being active in this movement. Yet, time after time I hear that Sodexho employees march and Sodexho employees demand, when actually the union is marching and demanding. What are they marching about? Maybe it's the monthly $35 (dues) x 500 employees.
Ask yourself, "Why aren't more Sodexho employees protesting?" Just maybe we enjoy working for Sodexho and appreciate the dedication of our management team as they continually strive to enhance our work environment.
I know this is a big issue on campus, but please, work on getting the facts straight.
Thank you for listening.
