Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, the first woman to hold the post, will discuss her time at the highest levels of the federal government at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, in the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts on the ºÙºÙÊÓƵ campus.
Albright is expected to discuss the range of foreign affairs, including the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, during an on-stage conversation with ºÙºÙÊÓƵ political science professor Larry Berman. Appointed by President Bill Clinton, Albright served as secretary of state from January 1997 until January 2001.
