April 25, Saturday -- Home gardeners, rose enthusiasts and industry leaders will gather at ºÙºÙÊÓƵ to learn about rose production, hybridization, marketing, and pest and disease issues during Rose Day. Morning presentations will be held in the Mondavi Center's Studio Theatre, followed by an outdoor catered lunch. In the afternoon, conference participants will tour the Foundation Plant Services' eight acres of rose plantings, west of the main campus. By that date, the roses should be in full bloom. Each registered participant will receive a groundcover rose. In the afternoon, the All-American Rose Selection winners, and other roses, will be available for sale to the general public and conference attendees. The fee for the day is $150 per person. Proceeds will benefit the programs of the California Center for Urban Horticulture at ºÙºÙÊÓƵ. Registration information is available online at: .
