April 5, Saturday -- The ºÙºÙÊÓƵ Native American Student Union will hold its 36th annual powwow, "Many Traditions, One Community," from 9 a.m. to midnight Saturday at the ARC Pavilion on campus. Highlights will include Pomo dancing at 10 a.m., gourd dancing at 11 a.m., and a "grand entry" with a flag song, invocation and Crow hop from noon to 1 p.m. Intertribal social dancing, dance competitions and a second "grand entry" will take place in the afternoon and evening. Attractions will include arts and crafts vendors and an Indian taco booth. The drug- and alcohol-free event is free and open to the public.
