April 8, Tuesday -- A panel discussion at ºÙºÙÊÓƵ will examine the detention policies that the Bush administration has pursued with regard to suspected terrorists and the war with Iraq. Speaking at "Detentions, War, Security and Liberty," will be Dean Elizabeth Rindskopf-Parker of McGeorge School of Law, an expert in national security law; Diane Marie Amann, a ºÙºÙÊÓƵ law professor who specializes in international law; and Tobias Barrington Wolff, a ºÙºÙÊÓƵ law professor who is an expert in constitutional law. The discussion, which will include a generous question-and-answer period, will be moderated by Cruz Reynoso, who holds the Boochever and Bird Chair for the Study and Teaching of Freedom and Equality at the ºÙºÙÊÓƵ law school.
