PG&E Braces for Wind Again: ºÙºÙÊÓƵ Power Not Affected

Conditions Can Change, and Campus Will Post Notifications as Needed

Pacific Gas and Electric Co. is monitoring a severe wind event expected to start Wednesday (Oct. 23) and has issued a warning for a potential public safety power shutoff, or PSPS, for many Northern California counties.

This is the second such advisory in two weeks. Under the new advisory, like the first one, power on the ºÙºÙÊÓƵ main campus will not be affected. However, conditions could change. If they do, we will notify the campus community through and other channels. You can find information on potential wildfire impacts to campus .

It is possible that the city of Davis and surrounding areas could lose power while ºÙºÙÊÓƵ’ main campus is not affected. City and county notifications are available at the following links:
