Boredom Busters: February and April
Davis public schools are taking off Feb. 21 to 25 (the week of the Presidents Day holiday), and Campus Recreation is stepping in with a healthy, fun, safe alternative: Boredom Busters, for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Campus Rec, which also runs Boredom Busters during spring break (April 4-8 this year), added the Feb. 21-25 program in response to the Davis Joint Unified School District's decision to close the schools not only for Presidents Day (Monday, Feb. 21), but for the next four days as well, as "workday reduction" days.
Parents have the option of full-day Boredom Busters (8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.) or half-day (8 a.m.-12:30 p.m.).
“Children will familiarize themselves with the ٺƵ campus and discover all the interactive opportunities Campus Recreation has to offer, including arts and crafts, rock wall climbing, sports, and many other exciting, creative activities,” Campus Rec officials said.
The costs are the same in February and April: Full day — $210, or $195 for Activities and Recreation Center members. Half day — $145, or $135 for ARC members.
Or call Campus Recreation, (530) 752-1730.
