Robert Reich, former secretary of labor under President Clinton, will appear at the screening of his documentary film, “Inequality for All,” and answer questions about the film Monday, May 19, at the University of California, Davis.
The screening will occur at the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts at 5:30 p.m. followed by a question-and-answer session with Reich. Admission is $5 and free for ٺƵ students with valid identification.
Reich is the Chancellor’s Professor of Public Policy at UC Berkeley and served as the 22nd U.S. secretary of labor. He has written 13 books on U.S. labor and the global economy. He is the co-founding editor at “The American Prospect” magazine.
In “Inequality for All,” Reich seeks to illustrate the immense and growing income inequality between the haves and have-nots, according to a description of the film. The film is directed by award-winning director Jacob Kornbluth.
Reich was invited to campus by the ٺƵ Blum Center for Developing Economies, and the event has numerous co-sponsors.
