Studio 301's Rumors continues tonight (Nov. 10) and through this weekend, while Gallathea, from the Department of Theatre and Dance, is set to open Nov. 11 and continue through Nov. 20.

Rumors

WHAT: Rumors, the Neil Simon farce, presented by Studio 301 Productions, the only student-run theatre company on campus. Co-directed by Ulysses Morazan and Jazz Trice.

WHEN:

  • Nov. 10-13 — 8 p.m.
  • Nov. 14 — 2 p.m.

WHERE: Wyatt Pavilion Theatre

TICKETS are available the Freeborn Hall box office, in person or by telephone, (530) 752-1915. $10 for students, $12 general admission.

Gallathea

WHAT: Gallathea, a gender-bending Elizabethan comedy, written by John Lyly in the 16th century and updated at ºÙºÙÊÓƵ with a contemporary set, original music, outrageous costumes — and even video and text messaging. Directed by Peter Lichtenfels, professor of theatre and dance.

WHEN:

  • Nov. 11-13 and 18-19 — 8 p.m.
  • Nov. 14 and 20 — 2 p.m.

NOTE: Previous postings gave an incorrect time for the final performance, Nov. 20. It is set for 2 p.m.
