Susan Love Delivers Breast Cancer Talk

Oct. 18, Monday -- Dr. Susan Love, a founding mother of the breast cancer advocacy movement, will address the leading issues surrounding breast cancer and menopause in the Varsity Theater, 616 Second St., Davis. Love is chairman and medical director of the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the eradication of breast cancer. Author of "Dr. Susan Love's Hormone Book" and "Dr. Susan Love's Breast Book," she is also a clinical professor of surgery at UCLA. Her speech begins at 6 p.m., with a book-signing at 5:30 p.m., and is sponsored by the ºÙºÙÊÓƵ Women's Resources and Research Center. The talk is open to the public, and tickets are available at Armadillo Music and the Campus Box Office.
