Symposium on Mokelumne and Cosumnes Rivers is Oct. 25

The University of California, Davis, is co-sponsoring a symposium on the Mokelumne and Cosumnes rivers on Oct. 25 on the campus. The goal of the symposium is to provide an invitation-only forum for academic and nonacademic watershed scientists to discuss the watersheds' hydrology, geomorphology, water quality, ecosystems and land-use changes. Co-sponsors with the ºÙºÙÊÓƵ Center for Integrated Watershed Science and Management are the East Bay Municipal Utility District and the Nature Conservancy's Cosumnes and Delta Project. The conference will take place on Thursday, Oct. 25, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Buehler Alumni and Visitors Center.
