Are you working in a constantly changing environment? If you are working at ٺƵ, or anywhere in the UC system for that matter, your answer is likely to be “yes,” in light of all the restructuring that is going on during these tight budget times.
So, perhaps your career needs some restructuring, too, or you need some help managing your career. Last fall, Staff Development and Professional Services offered a brown bag workshop series titled “Navigating Your Career Through Tough Economic Times,” and, due to high interest, the series is being offered again.
The four-part series, free to UC Davis employees, is scheduled to begin Feb. 3. Subsequent sessions, each building on the one before, are scheduled for Feb. 10, 17 and 24. All workshops are scheduled from 12:05 to 1 p.m. in 130 Hoagland Hall. Class size is limited; if you are interested, SDPS suggests that you sign up right away.
Series organizers said: “Navigating your career through tough times takes extra focus and commitment. However, taking charge of your career is worth the investment.
“This series is highly recommended as preparation for maximizing the benefits of one-on-one career counseling. Be proactive and enroll in this series that will help you navigate your career through tough times with ease and success.”
