The UC Office of the President announced that it has added "a wealth of new information" to StatFinder, the university system's searchable Web tool ().
Starting Sept. 3, "anyone interested in statistics about graduation rates, persistence rates (from year to year) and time-to-degree of UC students, at the universitywide and campus level, will be able to access this information with a few simple clicks of a mouse," a news release stated.
Additionally, users can generate tables showing, for different groups of students, their grade-point averages and credits earned.
StatFinder also now includes full-year as well as fall-term admission statistics. This change allows users to have full access to information about transfer students who apply and enroll at UC throughout the year.
With the launch of StatFinder in October 2007, UC became the first public institution in the nation to provide comprehensive application and admissions data with an online dynamic query tool that allows users to create customized tables using parameters of their own choosing.
UCOP reported an average of 6,000 unique users per month on the site.
