Dec. 11, Tuesday -- The first of a series of planning workshops to gather input on California wind energy research, development and demonstration (RD&D) priorities will be held at ºÙºÙÊÓƵ.
The goal of this event is to gather input from industry representatives, the research community and other interested parties to aid the wind research planning effort through 2020 of the California Energy Commission's Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) program.
Once complete, the Wind Energy Research Plan will help lay out major RD&D required to meet renewable-energy policy goals in California and will serve as a key planning tool for the commission's renewable RD&D effort.
