USDA-Funded Efforts to Address Adverse Childhood Experiences in Yolo County
When kids experience trauma early in life, the effects can last a lifetime 鈥 leading to chronic health issues, mental health struggles and barriers to success. 嘿嘿视频 research, led by Professor Leigh Ann Simmons, is tackling Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) head-on. With support from USDA, they鈥檙e connecting families to resource that build resilience, strengthen communities and change lives.
Helping Humanity
This initiative helps break cycles of trauma and supports healthier communities. Without continued funding, vital programs could be lost, leaving vulnerable families without access to life-changing support. Sustained investment is essential to ensuring brighter futures for children in Yolo County and beyond.
鈥 For every dollar the USDA invests in research, it generates $2.46 in economic benefits in the form of new jobs and infrastructure.鈥
