Ford Foundation Supports �ٺ��Ƶ Efforts to Help Refugees Reclaim Right to Education

The University of California, Davis, will use a $500,000 core grant from the Ford Foundation to develop Article 26 Backpack, a cloud-based “ecosystem” to help refugees and other vulnerable young people reclaim their education.

Topics ranging from expanding participation in study abroad to supporting Syrian refugee students and scholars will be discussed at an Institute of International Education conference at the University of California, Davis.

About 180 university faculty and administrators who work in international education and engagement are expected to attend “Lead Your Campus to the Top: Best Practices in Internationalizing the Campus” and pre-conference sessions.
