Even students who manage their money carefully can be caught by life’s surprises — an accident or illness, losing a job or a place to live. At �ٺ��Ƶ, an emergency assistance program that helps students stay in school in times of crisis now has a new name and more effective services.

The University of California, Davis, today (July 28) announced having raised a record-breaking $226 million during the 2015-16 fiscal year, making it the largest donation total raised in a single fiscal year in �ٺ��Ƶ’ 108-year history.

Hitting Our Stride for Aggie Pride (and Student Aid)

The Stride for Aggie Pride aims to take another big stride this year in fundraising for ASUCD scholarships and We Are Aggie Pride, the students-helping-students emergency fund.

The run, in its first two years, generated more than $42,000 for the cause. Now, let’s add to that total in the third Stride for Aggie Pride 5K, Sunday, April 24, on the Davis campus, starting and ending on the Quad. The organizers describe the route as “scenic” — well, of course it is, considering this is �ٺ��Ƶ and the run goes through the arboretum!
