Arrest Following Kidnapping and Assault

�ٺ��Ƶ police have arrested a suspect following an assault and kidnapping reported last Monday, Aug. 12. James Garvin surrendered at the �ٺ��Ƶ police department at 5 p.m., Aug. 20. He was booked at Yolo County jail on charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment and assault with great bodily injury.

�ٺ��Ƶ Update on Campus Security

We write with an update on campus security in response to questions arising from a Clery notice distributed by the �ٺ��Ƶ Police Department on Oct. 5.

Although the incident reportedly took place on Sept. 28, the �ٺ��Ƶ Police Department was notified on Oct. 4 by the Santa Rosa Police Department that the incident took place on the �ٺ��Ƶ campus. �ٺ��Ƶ Police confirmed that the incident occurred on campus, and the Clery notice was issued shortly thereafter.

UPDATED: Clery Act Crime Statistics Released

Updated 3:45 p.m. Oct. 11: Figures for specific crimes have been updated following corrections to grand totals in the report.

�ٺ��Ƶ this week (Sept. 30) released its Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, as required by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998.

Clery Crime Statistics for 2015 Released

�ٺ��Ƶ released its Annual Security and Fire Safety Report late last week, with an email to all employees and students. The report, required by the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (commonly known as the Clery Act), includes information about campus safety programs as well as a summary of certain categories of crimes reported on and around �ٺ��Ƶ property in calendar year 2015.
