Your 2023 open enrollment packets will soon be on their way to your home mailboxes. The UC website goes live Monday (Oct. 24) and open enrollment begins at 8 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 27).

Friday Deadlines: Open Enrollment and Flu Shots

Today, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (Nov. 19) ... that’s all the time you have left to take care of open enrollment and getting a flu shot (or telling the university, via the Health-e-Messaging portal, that you are not going to get one).

Open enrollment — You have until 5 p.m. Friday to access UCPath’s open enrollment website.

10 Days Left for Open Enrollment and the Flu Shot (or No Flu Shot)

If you are used to open enrollment that ends two days before Thanksgiving, you need to readjust your calendar. This year’s deadline has been moved up four days — giving you until 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, to make your benefits choices for 2022.

UPDATED: Open Enrollment Mailing Delayed

Updated 12:15 p.m. Oct. 28: The UC Office of the President announced that its printer aims to get open enrollment packets in the mail by the end of this week, so that should arrive at employees’ homes early next week. �ٺ��Ƶ Human Resources has made the materials available for download here.

Watch for your open enrollment booklet in the mail next week and then get ready to (en)roll, from 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, through 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19

In 2022, UC will continue to offer the same high-quality benefits as last year for faculty and staff, with a few important changes, including increases in medical plan premiums ranging from $0 to $47 per month.

Open enrollment for 2021 begins Thursday (Oct. 29) and continues until 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24 (two days before Thanksgiving), giving employees the opportunity to make benefits choices for the year ahead.

Open Enrollment: Look for the ‘Local’ Blue & Gold Rates

Open enrollment begins next week, and, just like last year, we are pointing out that the UC Blue & Gold medical plan rates shown on UCnet and printed in an open enrollment brochure coming by U.S. mail do not apply locally.

The Blue & Gold rates do not reflect the subsidies put in place Jan. 1, 2020, and which will continue in 2021 for employees of �ٺ��Ƶ, �ٺ��Ƶ Health and Davis-based Agriculture and Natural Resources, bringing “local” Blue & Gold rates down to equal Kaiser Permanente’s.

OPEN ENROLLMENT: Soon It Will Close

Open enrollment will close next Tuesday, Nov. 26, a week from today, so, if you have not done so already, take time for your once-a-year opportunity to make choices about your benefits. Where to Find ‘Local’ Premiums for Blue & Gold Health Plan

You won’t find them in the 2020 open enrollment booklet that is due to come by mail to your homes this week. You won’t see them on UC’s open enrollment website.

We are talking about the subsidized rates by which the UC Blue & Gold health maintenance organization, which includes access to �ٺ��Ƶ Health, is now one of the lowest-priced health plan options for “local” employees — we who work at �ٺ��Ƶ, �ٺ��Ƶ Health and UC Agriculture and Natural Resources.
