Sheepmovers made their return to the 嘿嘿视频 campus on Wellman Hall鈥檚 lawn Friday, Nov. 1. About 25 sheep of multiple varieties grazed the lawn, helping to mow, fertilize and improve the lawn鈥檚 ecosystem. But not only do these sheep help to keep our planet in order, they also provide students with an artistic outlet to enjoy during a stressful week.

Bus stops, bike paths, sidewalks and other spots often overlooked in the community will become areas of beauty 鈥� for the sake of science. That鈥檚 the idea behind the Seed Pile Project, which asks community members from as far east as Sacramento and as far west as the East Bay to drop a pile of native wildflower seeds near their home or office and monitor the growth.

Sheep to Return One 鈥楳ow鈥� Time This Season

Sheep have been grazing the 嘿嘿视频 campus during the summer and this fall in an academic experiment to see if they can eat weeds and grass, fertilize and control pests as well as or better than using conventional landscaping methods.

This week will be the last chance to see them for a while 鈥� and, if you're a knitter, well, this is your opportunity to see wool-in-the-making! More on that later.
