Are you storing your purchases in your office or lab or apartment? The Police Department has issued safety fliers for break, to protect all of your belongings.

WINTER BREAK: What’s Down With the Heat?

As with previous winter breaks, campus heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems will take a vacation as well — but this year only on the official campus holidays, Tuesday-Wednesday, Dec. 24-25 and Dec. 31-Jan. 1 (in addition to the normal weekend setbacks).

Too busy during the quarter to tour the Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art? Now is a good time to visit, especially if you want to catch two exhibitions that are closing by year’s end. Admission is free and open to the public.

The Physical Sciences and Engineering Library has already closed for winter break — a week earlier than �ٺ��Ƶ’ three other libraries — to accommodate a construction project. The Shields, Carlson and Blaisdell libraries will be closed from Saturday (Dec. 22) through New Year’s Day.
