Students traveled all over the globe this year, and 10 photos from Bhutan, Bolivia, France and more are finalists in the 2024 Study Abroad Photo Contest.

Voting in two categories — places and people — is open until 5 p.m. on Dec. 6.

�ٺ��Ƶ Fall Athletes Are Playoff-Bound

Two teams of Aggies are headed for postseason play, and a third looks likely. The �ٺ��Ƶ men’s soccer team won the Big West Championship last week, clinching an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament. The university’s women’s volleyball team will head to its own Big West tournament next week following the completion of regular season play; the team currently sits at first place in the conference.

Volunteers Sought for Campus Emergency Response Team

�ٺ��Ƶ Safety Services will establish a Campus Emergency Response Team (CERT) in 2025, and now is the time to volunteer.

Volunteers will receive education about disaster preparedness and training in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations.

Newest Hellman Fellows Have Wide Range of Expertise

The work of 12 early-career faculty members will get a boost as this year’s class of Hellman Fellows. They will receive grants ranging from $16,000 to $49,000, for a total of $330,000 awarded.

Their work covers a wide range of topics, from the educational experiences of Venezuelan immigrants to a wireless device that monitors for seizures.

Football Has Chance at Conference Title Saturday

The �ٺ��Ƶ football team has a chance to bring home the Big Sky Conference championship Saturday (Nov. 16) when it faces off against Montana State at �ٺ��Ƶ Health Stadium.

The winner of the game will also earn the Big Sky Conference's automatic qualification to the NCAA FCA Playoffs. �ٺ��Ƶ is ranked No. 4, while Montana State is ranked No. 2.

Kickoff is set for 5 p.m., and the game will also host its own version of the Picnic Day favorite Doxie Derby during the first half.

Wide Range of Crowdfund �ٺ��Ƶ Projects Exceed October Goals

Thirty-one project teams of students, faculty and staff across �ٺ��Ƶ and �ٺ��Ƶ Health raised $97,138 from more than 715 gifts during October’s Crowdfund �ٺ��Ƶ campaign. To date, the program has raised $2.8 million for the university.

Fourteen project teams met or exceeded their fundraising goals. Those teams, listed below, represent projects from all over the university and �ٺ��Ƶ Health.
