Campus Ranked Among Top Producers of Peace Corps Volunteers

The Peace Corps announced today (Feb. 26) that �ٺ��Ƶ ranks No. 23 among large universities on its 2020 list of top volunteer-producing colleges and universities.

Currently, 42 campus alumni are serving as Peace Corps volunteers in countries around the world, working alongside communities to develop sustainable solutions to challenges in education, health, economic development, agriculture, the environment, and youth development.

Campus Ranks 20th in Producing Peace Corps Volunteers

The Peace Corps today (Feb. 28) announced that the campus ranked No. 20 among large schools on the agency’s 2017 Top Volunteer-Producing Colleges and Universities list. There are 39 Aggies currently volunteering worldwide.

This is �ٺ��Ƶ’ 16th consecutive year in the top 25. In total, three campuses in the UC system are ranked on the list of top 25 large universities this year.

NEWS BRIEFS: State of the Campus Address

Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi gives her State of the Campus address to the Academic Senate’s Representative Assembly, this Thursday (Feb. 25).

The meeting, open to the public, is scheduled to begin at 2:10 p.m. in the multipurpose room at the Student Community Center. Katehi’s address is the first item on the agenda.

�ٺ��Ƶ Among Peace Corps’ 2016 Top Volunteer-Producing Universities

Today, the Peace Corps announced that the University of California, Davis, ranked No. 14 among large schools on the agency’s 2016 Top Volunteer-Producing Colleges and Universities list. There are 36 Aggies currently volunteering worldwide.

This is the second year that �ٺ��Ƶ has held the No. 14 spot in the rankings among the top large schools and the 15th consecutive year in the top 25. In total, six schools in the UC system are ranked on the list of top 25 large universities this year.
