�ٺ��Ƶ’ GreenMetric Ranking Still Best in US

The University of California, Davis, maintains its “greenest-in-the-U.S.” status in the 2018 UI GreenMetric World University Rankings.

The rankings from the University of Indonesia have �ٺ��Ƶ holding onto the No. 3 spot overall, behind No. 1 Wageningen University and Research Center, Netherlands; and No. 2. University of Nottingham, United Kingdom — the same top three in the same order as last year.

The University of California, Davis, is the greenest university in the world, as declared today (Dec. 29) by the seventh annual GreenMetric ranking from the University of Indonesia.

�ٺ��Ƶ held the third position in last year’s UI GreenMetric World University Ranking, and emerged No. 1 in the 2016 assessment of 516 colleges and universities in 74 countries for environmentally friendly campus operations and policies, and research and education on sustainability.

An international survey of more than 400 colleges has ranked �ٺ��Ƶ No. 3 in the world in environmental sustainability for the university's teaching, research, campus lifestyle and management.

The annual GreenMetric rankings by the University of Indonesia moved �ٺ��Ƶ up one spot from its No. 4 ranking a year earlier. It is now behind only the University of Nottingham in England and the University of Connecticut.
