Baxter鈥檚 role is expanding the university鈥檚 traditional roles of teaching and research to include catalyzing innovation, enterprise and entrepreneurship.</p><p>鈥淭o me it has always been about the doing, the impact,鈥� Baxter said. 鈥淚鈥檝e enjoyed science my whole life and obviously there is the fantastic intellectual stimulation of discovering new things.
