Lighting Safety Walk Set for Nov. 14

Update 10 a.m. Nov. 10: The start of the lighting walk has been moved to the north lawn of Walker Hall.

The �ٺ��Ƶ community is invited to a fall campus lighting walk next week to look for burnt out bulbs or places where additional lighting could make the university safer.

�ٺ��Ƶ won't let rain stop the safety walk planned for Wednesday night (March 9), the Police Department announced. So, show up at 6:30 p.m. at the flagpole on the Memorial Union’s South Patio, and bring your umbrellas! The organizers will be serving hot chocolate and snacks before the walk.

Exterior Lights: We're Checking Them, Fixing Them

Police officers, maintenance workers and others have been enlisted to systematically observe the campus’s exterior lights to make sure all are working properly, and to get them fixed quickly if they are not.
